What do Pegasus eat?

What do Pegasus eatWell, we know that Pegasus could only -drink- from the well Pirene where he was captured by Bellerophon.

When Bellerophon attempted to fly to Mt. Olympus and was cast down, Pegasus went to stay in the Olympian Stables and serve Zeus. Perhaps he ate ambrosia or the barley from which ambrosia was made.

Pegasus description:

In Greek mythology, Pegasus (P├ęgasos) was a winged horse sired by Poseidon, in his role as horse-god, and foaled by the Gorgon Medusa. He was the brother of Chrysaor, born at a single birthing. By extension, the term Pegasus (and the plural Pegasi) can also refer to any winged horse.
